The 5 Best Moments From the Wonder Woman Trailer!

The first Wonder Woman trailer was released on July 23, 2016 at the San Diego Comic-Con and it did not disappoint! The film stars Gal Gadot returning to the role she first played in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. DC Comics heavyweight Geoff Johns co-wrote the film. It is directed by Patty Jenkins, who directed the Oscar winning 2003 film, 'Monster'. Wonder Woman will be released June 2, 2017. The Confessions of a Cosplay Girl Blog breaks down the 5 best moments from the trailer!

#1. Diana's Legendary Discovery of Steve Trevor.
We all know the story and have seen it played out  in comics, animated features and even the classic Lynda Carter series. It's good to know the writers and director are sticking to the source material and are keeping the first meeting between these future love birds intact.

#2. Our first Real Glimpse of Themyscira.
Yes, Themyscira (or Paradise Island. Whichever title they are going for in the film) is a beautiful island with lovely shores. The trailer gave us our first real look at the Amazon home other than ocean views. The screen cap above shows the Amazon sisters at a gathering with beautiful cave and stone structures.

#3. Wonder Woman on the Battlefield.
We certainly got a taste of how action packed this movie will be! It provided many sequences of Diana whipping her lasso as she fights several enemies, glowing at full power. We also saw her dodging bullets (thanks to her shield) and sword fighting her opponents.

#4. Amazons Attack.
Archery! Horse back riding! Sword fighting! Seeing the Amazon Warriors in action was a fangirls dream come true. These sequences were nothing short of badass!

#5. The Introduction of Etta Candy.
Etta is a beloved Wonder Woman character. Throughout comic history, she has been a supportive and sometimes comical part of  Diana's life. The role of Etta has not been played onscreen since actress Beatrice Colen portrayed her in the Wonder Woman television series (1976-1977).  The adorable Ms. Candy has all ready charmed me in the trailer thanks to actress Lucy Davis.
